COVID-19 Information

This Infographic displays information about what the coronavirus is and the preventative measures that have been developed since it was first identified at the end of 2019.

Besides the usual sanitizing and ask wearing procedure, one of the best ways to prevent getting it is to get the COVID-19 vaccination. There are 3 in total: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson/ Janssen.

Since it first began in the early months of 2020, several states have had a surge in cases, resulting in an influx of recorded deaths. Vaccinations have been administered in these areas which has brung the death toll down tremendously compared to where it was months prior. According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, the total number of distributed vaccinations is 109,081,860. In the infographic above are the top five states with California being the forerunner at 3,820,000 fully vaccinated individuals.

For those who haven’t gotten the vaccine it’s important to carry on with other forms of precaution. Many are familiar with mask wearing, social distancing, and sanitizing your hands or areas that you come in contact with but it’s also important to monitor your health as you can be infected and show symptoms or maybe not having any symptoms but still being infected.
