COVID-19 Testing Sites

The graphic above displays various Chicago neighborhoods layered with locations where people can get tested for COVID-19.

A total of three vaccines have been developed and distributed worldwide. Pfizer-BioNtech, Moderna, and The Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Pfizer-BioNtech and the Moderna require two doses while the Johnson & Johnson vaccine only requires one.

Since it’s distribution to the general public, a total of 116,378,615 doses have been distributed across the United States but only 92,089,852 doses have been administered to the general public.

In this graphic we can see that in the chicagoland there’s at least one testing site within their regions, However, for those closer to the outskirts of the city testing sites are not as frequent. This can become an issue as people within these areas have less access to vaccination sites and might have to travel some distance in order to get vaccinated.
